Damage to the fuel pump module can cause the following problems:

1. loss of power.

2. sluggish acceleration.

3. difficulty starting the engine or smoke when starting.

4. stalling at idle or uneven running.

5. intermittent engine performance

Function:

By controlling the voltage, the fuel pump drive module maintains good fuel pressure and fuel delivery to the engine throughout its operating range.
