ND Filters Function :

Freewell ND filters are constructed to reduce light hitting thesensor, which slows down the camera's shutter speed. Thiscreates a more natural-looking motion blur that smooths outfootage and helps reduce the appearance of "jello" effectsfrom the camera's rolling shutter. The ND Filters can also beused for reducing lens flare while shooting into the sun and for toning down highlights while filming outdoors.

ND4 / ND8 :

ND4: Cuts light by 2 f-stops for overcast or fairly claudy with lower daylight.

ND8:Slow down the shutter speed by 3 f-stops
in partial cloudy daylight conditions.

ND16 / ND32 :

ND16: Cuts light by 4 f-stops in normal daylight to avoid the 'Jell-0’effect.

ND32: Cuts light by 5 f-stops for bright sunny
daylight to create natural motion blur footage.

ND64 / ND1000 :

ND64: Reduce light by 6 f-stops for use in very bright sunny daylight conditions.

ND1000: Cuts light by 10 f-stops creating mesmerizing milky long exposure.
