ph Down Up Solution Hydroponics pH Adjuster pH Regulator for Plants pH Control Acid & Base for Hydroponic Systems Plants Growth

Feature

1. Accurate pH Control for Healthy Growth

Designed for hydroponics growers, this professional hydroponic pH regulator provides fast and stable correction of nutrient solution pH levels. Ideal for DWC, NFT, drip systems and indoor plant setups.

2. Raise or Lower pH Easily

Includes both pH Down (acid) and pH Up (base) solutions, making it easy to fine-tune nutrient balance and maintain the recommended 5.5–6.5 pH range for vegetables, herbs and leafy greens.

3. High-Purity Formula for Hydro Systems

Our high-purity formula works instantly to improve nutrient absorption and prevent issues like yellowing leaves, iron lockout, and stunted growth. Perfect for aquaponics and indoor grow tents.

4. Stable, Long-Lasting Performance
This pH adjuster is non-evaporating, highly stable and long-term effective, making it ideal for hobby growers, home gardens, and professional hydroponic farms seeking consistent results.

5. Easy Measurement & Safe Dosage

Apply just 3–5 ml per 100 L to adjust pH by 0.1–0.2 points. Works with any hydroponic pH control solution, nutrient mix, or water reservoir. Suitable for growers of tomatoes, lettuce, peppers and more.

NOTE:

Kindly ensure that you have selected the correct product variation prior to checkout. You can choose between single-bottle and two-bottle pack options.

Packing List

The two-bottle pack includes a measuring cup, box, and instructions.

The single-bottle pack contains only one bottle of liquid.

Usage Instructions & Guidelines

Important: Always follow the “small amounts, applied more often” principle. This is the recommended method for best results.

1. Measure Initial pH:
Measure the current pH of your nutrient solution using a calibrated, precision pH meter.

2. Calculate & Add:

For pH DOWN (Acidifier): Add 3–5 mL per 100 liters (approx. 26 gallons) of nutrient solution to lower the pH by approximately 0.1–0.2 units.

For pH UP (Alkalizer): Add 3–5 mL per 100 liters (approx. 26 gallons) of nutrient solution to raise the pH by approximately 0.1–0.2 units.

Note: The alkalinity (KH) of your water will affect dosage. Begin with a lower dose for initial testing.

3. Circulate/Mix Thoroughly:
Add the adjuster slowly to the nutrient reservoir while the water pump is running or while stirring manually to ensure even distribution.

4. Wait & Re-test:
Allow the solution to circulate for 15–25 minutes for the pH to stabilize, then measure the pH again.

5. Repeat if Necessary:
If the target range has not been reached, repeat steps 2–4 until the pH stabilizes within the desired range.

6. Record Keeping:
Record the amount used for future reference and to predict your system’s needs.

FQA

Q1: What should I do if I accidentally add too much pH adjuster?
A: Do not panic. The safest and most effective solution is immediate dilution. Drain out about 1/3 to 1/2 of the nutrient solution and refill with an equal amount of neutral pH (around 7.0) fresh water. Mix thoroughly. Re-measure the pH and make fine adjustments gradually. This is safer than trying to "neutralize" it with the opposite adjuster, which can imbalance the nutrient solution.

Q2: My pH level keeps drifting back (rebounding) quickly. Why is it unstable?
A: Rapid pH rebound is often linked to high alkalinity (KH, bicarbonate concentration) in your water source. High KH water acts as a "buffer" resisting pH drop. We recommend:

Q3: What’s the difference between pH DOWN and ordinary vinegar (acetic acid)?
A: Using vinegar is strongly discouraged. While it can lower pH, it is an organic acid that is unstable, readily broken down by microbes, causing drastic pH swings. It also lacks buffering capacity and may introduce harmful microorganisms. Our product is a formulated inorganic acid blend, offering high stability, buffering, and is sterile, specifically designed for hydroponics.

Q4: The product color changed slightly or crystals formed at the bottom during storage. Is it still effective?
A: In low temperatures, some ingredients may crystallize or cause slight color changes, which typically does not affect efficacy. Before use, bring the product to room temperature and shake the bottle vigorously until any crystals are fully dissolved. Ensure it is used within the shelf life.

Q5: How long will one bottle typically last?
A: This depends on your system volume, water alkalinity, and how much your pH drifts. Due to the high concentration and the “less is more” principle, a 250ml bottle can last a considerable time for small to medium systems (e.g., 100L). Regular monitoring and record-keeping will help estimate usage.
